Warranty Terms

Limited Warranty
Affordable Trees, LLC guarantees trees for a period of (1) one year from the date of installation when we perform the installation. Should your tree(s) perish within (1) one year of installation, Affordable Trees, LLC will replace the original tree one time only at no cost with a tree of equal or lesser value. No money will be refunded in place of a dead tree, all sales are final. This guarantee does not extend to any replacements done for original planting(s). This guarantee is issued to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Annuals, perennials and rose bushes are not covered under warranty. This warranty shall not apply if the demise of the tree(s) is caused by misuse or damage by accident or if the tree(s) in question has not been afforded reasonable maintenance and care. This warranty assumes that the customer has exercised the proper plant care, especially watering. We reserve the right to void any warranty coverage where there is evidence of too much watering or lack of watering, or neglect.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from pests such as insects, disease or mechanical damage such as lawn mowers or weed trimmers (acts of man), or the like.
  • Damage from improper herbicide use or other chemical misuse or the like.
  • Wind, hail or any storm damage (acts of nature), or the like.

Due to the uncertainty of the availability of living, growing plant material, Affordable Trees, LLC cannot guarantee the future ability to replace a dead plant with the exact variety and size originally purchased, in which case you will be notified and an agreement regarding an alternative choice can be made. This warranty only covers the value tendered on the original purchase.

Affordable Trees, LLC retains the right to require a receipt from the date of purchase as well as have the purchaser fill out additional forms and satisfy additional procedures to facilitate a tree(s) replacement. Additional minimal charges such as fuel/trip may also be required at Affordable Trees, LLC request. Account must be paid in full before any replacements can be made.
We expect anyone experiencing problems with their plant material to call us without delay at 317-758-2000 if you have any questions or concerns. This will allow us to work with you, to correct any problems that may exist in the care of your plants. Often we can avoid replacement by adjusting care methods.
